March 4, 2022,
Busy is another name for a female college student.
Especially if she is on a wrestling team which is becoming more and more common in the United States.
Reading, studying and taking tests are the essentials.
As an athlete you should be working out to. Perhaps with your own personal fitness routine.
Which can always improve.
Who can help?
There are tons of Fitness Influencers out there who can help your body feel, look and perform better.
The United Kingdom’s Grace Beverley with take it to another glorious step even though, according to her, technically she is not a Fitness Influencer.
Having said that, she will make you look great while you work out with her active wear line and if you are a college student, she probably knows what you like. Why?
As of this writing, Ms. Beverly is 24 years old.
Time for a meet and great.
Grace Margaret Beverley was born in London, England. She is the third of four daughters.
Beverley attended St Paul’s Girls’ School and as a teenager. She went on to gain a choral scholarship at St Peter’s College, Oxford, where she studied music as an undergraduate, graduating in 2019.
Since the early age of 18, she’s been documenting her life to an audience of over half a million people on YouTube alongside her popular Instagram following.
Beverley’s social media accounts, including on YouTube and Instagram, under the name of GraceFitUK, as a “lifestyle vlogger” with a focus on fitness and veganism, enabled her to sell workout and diet guides to her fan base, as well as led to her working with fitness company Gymshark.
Who is Gym Shark? We can kind of guess what the name stands for. Once in the gym, keep happily moving.
Gymshark is a British fitness apparel and accessories brand, manufacturer and retailer headquartered in Solihull, England. Founded in June 2012, Gymshark creates and distributes its own range of fitness wear.
How well have they done?
In 2020, the company was valued at over one billion dollars.
Grace appears to have friends in very high places.
Did we say she was only 24?
Gymshark’s products are sold directly to consumers in 180 countries via websites in 13 languages. The company employs 499 people globally.
Way to go Grace.
With the support of Genflow, an influencer brand-building company, Beverley established two companies, TALA and Shreddy.
Having amassed a considerable following on personal social media accounts as a student under the name GraceFitUK, Beverley’s involvement in TALA and Shreddy began when she was an undergraduate at St Peter’s College, Oxford.
The team at newstatesman.com shares, “Beverley is the owner, founder, and chief executive of three different, highly popular fitness businesses: B_ND, a gym equipment shop, Shreddy, a fitness app, and Tala, an ethical athletic wear outlet that has enjoyed explosive popularity among young women in the past year.”
Okay, Beverly wants to make you look great while you work out.
We get it.
She hopes you buy it. Figuratively and literally.
Many have, as her company is in the multi-millionaire status.
More details please.
TALA is a clothing brand that markets itself as providing sustainably made clothing.
Appreciate that. Very earth friendly.
According to the company, most garments are made from recycled materials such as plastic bottles upcycled into yarn, or factory offcuts, and it promotes itself as a transparent and affordable option for sustainable and high quality active wear.
That’s where you college students and female athletes come into play, when you play.
It was launched in 2019 and turned over £6.2 million in its first year. Yes, Grace is the founder and current CEO.
Shreddy is a fitness tech and equipment brand. Users pay a monthly fee to access exercise classes and meal plans on the app according to their preferences and goals, and can buy branded equipment required to complete the classes. Beverley is the founder and current CEO.
We’d like a closer look at her bio. Glean from the young Queen.
At gleamfutures.com they educate, “London’s Young Entrepreneur of the Year (NatWest GBEA) and founder of sustainable style brand TALA and fitness tech brand Shreddy, Grace Beverley is a successful female entrepreneur shaking up the archaic business world, with a global digital reach of over 1.5 million.
By just age twenty-three, Grace had been named first in Forbes 30 under 30’s retail and e-commerce list, graduated from Oxford University and attained a Sustainable Business accreditation from Harvard Business School. Grace’s inspiring commitment to accelerate the slow-fashion space and provide the blueprint for aspiring entrepreneurs has led to features in Drapers, Forbes, CEO Today, VOGUE Business and Business Insider.
After a heated nine-way auction, Hutchinson (Penguin Random House) acquired the rights to Grace’s first book which offers a fresh take on how to navigate modern life, get focused and step back before burning out. The highly sought after ‘Working Hard, Hardly Working: Redefining Productivity in the Modern World’ has taken pre-orders in the thousands and is set to publish in April 2021.”
Impressive. She writes books too. Here it is. On Amazon, of course.
Working Hard, Hardly Working: How to achieve more, stress less and feel fulfilled: THE #1 SUNDAY TIMES BESTSELLER Kindle Edition
By Grace Beverley (Author) Format: Kindle Edition
“We all know the pressure of feeling like we should be grinding 24/7 while simultaneously being told that we should ‘just relax’ and take care of ourselves, like we somehow have to decide between success and sanity. But in today’s complex working world, where every hobby can be a hustle and social media is the lens through which we view ourselves and others, this seemingly impossible choice couldn’t be further from our reality.
In Working Hard, Hardly Working, entrepreneur and self-proclaimed ‘lazy workaholic’ Grace Beverley challenges this unrealistic and unnecessary split, and offers a fresh take on how to create your own balance, be more productive and feel fulfilled.
Insightful, curious and refreshingly honest, Working Hard, Hardly Working will make you reflect on what you want from your life and work – and then help you chart your path to get there.”
Ideal words for the busy female college student and athlete.
So, when following Grace, she will keep you happy busy. There is a lot to unpack but if a young woman at 24 can find so much success early, without a student loan in sight, isn’t her brain worth picking?
Isn’t her active wear line worth picking up?
We think so.
Remember the name Grace Beverly and when you get a moment, you just might come under her influence.
