October 19, 2022,
Whether you live in a large family, hang out with a lot of friends or live solo, admit it, Fall is the best time for TV and Movie viewing.
Enough of the re-runs.
When Fall rolls around, so do the TV shows. With new episodes.
There is great anticipation for this one.
Charli Grace D’Amelio is an American social media personality. Big time.
She was a competitive dancer for over 10 years before starting her social media career in 2019, when she started actively posting content on the video-sharing platform TikTok, where she began posting dance videos which started trending on the platform.
She quickly amassed a large following and subsequently became the most-followed creator on the platform until she was surpassed by Khaby Lame in 2022.
Ready to watch more of her?
She currently stars in the Hulu docuseries, The D’Amelio Show.
Docuseries? We’ve watched. Seems like a Reality TV Show to us.
Here’s Hulu’s point of view, “Charli D’Amelio is the current queen of TikTok, and fast fame has turned her life upside down. She seeks normalcy through competitive dance, but influencer life is all-consuming. Charli struggles with social anxiety while hoping to bond with new friends. Big events mean big emotions for the D’Amelio sisters. Charli is nominated for a Kid’s Choice Award, but will her perfectionism be her undoing? Dixie faces her first live performance, but can she pull it off?”
Searching questions. Inquiring minds would love to know.
So watch the show.
We will. That’s why we love the Fall. New episodes.
There is another Fall blockbuster on Hulu.
Best known for its involvement in reality television shows, the Kardashians longest running show was Keeping Up with the Kardashians (2007–2021).
There is huge news there.
As reported by variety.com, “NBCUniversal’s claw-back of programming rights from Disney’s Hulu has resulted in the removal this week of dozens of past seasons of popular shows on the streamer — including the entire run of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” — as those have now flown over to NBCU’s own Peacock.”
That is a whopper. Seasons 1-20 are gone.
The Kardashians are never one to let the grass grow under their feet.
Their spinoffs included Kourtney and Kim Take Miami (2009–2013); Kourtney and Khloé Take Miami (2009–2013); Kourtney and Kim Take New York (2011–2012); Khloé & Lamar (2013); Kourtney and Kim Take Miami (2014–2015); Kourtney and Khloé Take The Hamptons (2014–2015); Dash Dolls (2015) and Life of Kylie (2017).
Did you just notice something?
Looking at that list, most of their spinoffs didn’t last more than one season.
So much for spin-offs. Return to what works.
In 2022, the family aired their new show The Kardashians.
Hulu gets to keep that one.
See how this storyline will get you back to the television set.
“As the Kardashians return for season two, Khloé reveals shocking news that will change the family forever.”
Wow. That certainly has our attention.
This is one strong family. They can handle it.
Robert Kardashian Senior is the son of Helen and Arthur Kardashian. All four of his grandparents were Armenian who emigrated from the Russian Empire to the United States in the early 20th century, originating from the towns of Karakale and Erzurum in modern-day Turkey.
On April 24, 1915, the Ottoman authorities arrested and deported hundreds of Armenian intellectuals and leaders from Constantinople.
At the orders of Talaat Pasha, an estimated 800,000 to 1.2 million Armenians were sent on death marches to the Syrian Desert in 1915 and 1916. Driven forward by paramilitary escorts, the deportees were deprived of food and water and subjected to robbery, rape, and massacres. In the Syrian Desert, the survivors were dispersed into concentration camps.
The family left the Russian Empire before the Armenian genocide began in 1915.
We really admire their strength, courage and willingness to act to save their lives.
In terms of the new show, we loved last season.
We’re not sure that Scott Disick enjoyed it as much. Kourtney, the mother of his children is head over heels in love with a rock star and it looks like wedding bells are coming. Scott felt left out and if he is faking that, he truly is a great actor because we sure believed him.
We’re looking forward to season two.
Wonder how much of Scott Disick we will see?
So the Kardashian’s spin-offs had mixed results but another spin-off from a different franchise has had incredible success and we look forward to every new season.
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, often abbreviated to Law & Order: SVU or just SVU, is an American crime drama television series created by Dick Wolf‘s own production company, Wolf Entertainment, for NBC.
The first spin-off of Law & Order, it starred Christopher Meloni as Detective Elliot Stabler until Meloni left the series in 2011 after 12 seasons, and Mariska Hargitay as Detective (ultimately promoted to Captain) Olivia Benson, now the commanding officer of the Special Victims Unit after originally having been Stabler’s partner in a fictionalized version of the New York City Police Department.
The series has received 91 award nominations, winning 33 awards. Mariska Hargitay was the first regular cast member on any Law & Order series to win an Emmy Award when she won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series in 2006.
Guess what?
They are back again.
But guess what else?
One of them won’t be there for long.
As posted by variety.com, “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” is losing a detective. Kelli Giddish, who portrays Amanda Rollins on the NBC drama, will depart during the upcoming 24th season. She will be in at least the premiere episode.”
Another bombshell.
We’re still going to watch, with excitement.
So there you have it.
In terms of television watching, we are so excited about the fall and if you have been watching the FBI franchises, they will have new episodes as well.
Would it be a stretch to say that Fall is the best time of year?
