Every day we’re moving forward.
Literally.
Just look down at your feet.
Having said that, wouldn’t you agree that just as we move forward, moment by moment in our daily life, in the larger picture, shouldn’t we move forward with our larger life plan?
You do have a larger life plan, right?
A larger life plan could include what you hope to do for your family, your retirement, home or condo purchasing, financial investments, your fitness, eating habits and more.
In order to improve in those areas, it is extremely important to challenge yourself. Don’t be content with the status quo, even if you are happy with where you are at. If you stand pat, life could pass you by.
In our life plan, what is a challenge anyway?
There are many great definitions out there and here is one that we really liked. The team at betterup.com educate, “It means you’ve stepped outside your comfort zone and taken on a new task. You’ve set new goals for yourself, and you’re ready to work hard to achieve them. A challenge is something that teaches you how to grow as a person.”
Sounds good.
Let’s walk over to the book store.
