Robin S. Sharma is a Canadian writer, motivational speaker, leadership expert and a former Litigation lawyer. He is the author of 12 global best sellers, including The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari and The Leader Who Had No Title.

Freestyle wrestler Victoria Anthony is a rare champion and very special human being.
Attempting to categorically describe the extraordinary life of USA freestyle female wrestling star Victoria Anthony in one word is impossible.
She wrestles like she’s eaten her spinach, carrots, fresh fruit, appropriate grains and taken the right amount of vitamins too.[adToAppearHere]
In terms of her penchant to extract victory from the jaws of defeat, Victoria’s ability to adapt, alter, change, adjust, readjust, convert, reshape, revamp, rework, reconstruct and reorganize at an extremely high level is unparalleled.
She says so herself in a video interview, “If something’s not going right, I have to figure out what it is.”
Enjoying success requires the ability to adapt. Only by being open to change will you have a true opportunity to get the most from your talent.…..Nolan Ryan
And figure it out she does.
Describing the countries that she has wrestled for takes a least two words; Simon Fraser University in Canada and competing for her home country as well, the United States.
Where she has traveled to is expansive with tours of Mexico City, Budapest Hungary and wrestling in the Caucus Mountains in Southern Russia to name a few.
According to the widely respected wrestling site, intermatwrestle.com, she competes for Sunkist Kids out of Huntington Beach, California.[adToAppearHere]
Victoria first made a name for herself in a female freestyle wrestling competition back in 2006, placing second at the Junior Nationals that year while still at Marina High School in California. After a third-place finish at the 2007 Junior Nationals, she was crowned the Junior Nationals champ in 2008 and went on to place fifth at the Junior World Championships that year.
In the year 2009 she won the Junior World title, and FILA Junior National championship. She followed that up with yet another Junior World championship and runner-up status at the Canada Cup in 2010.
Ms. Anthony continues to excel at some of the world’s most prestigious freestyle tournaments including placing second at the U.S. Open, third at the Dave Schultz Memorial International and third at the 2012 U.S. Olympic Team Trials.
She was recently crowned the Austrian Ladies Open champion, and placed second at the U.S. World Team Trials and at the U.S. Open. She was also named TheMat.com Athlete of the Week in 2013.

The powerful and growing industry of women’s wrestling jets you around the globe. Let’s take a trip to Victoria’s home, Huntington Beach, California.
Huntington Beach is a seaside city in Orange County in Southern California. The city is named after American businessman Henry E. Huntington. The population was 189,992 during the 2010 census, making it the most populous beach city in Orange County and the seventh most populous city in the Los Angeles-Long Beach-Anaheim MSA.
The United States Census Bureau estimated its 2013 population at 193,480.
Huntington Beach is known for its long 9.5-mile (15.3 km) stretch of sandy beach, mild climate, excellent surfing, and beach culture. The ocean waves are enhanced by a natural effect caused by the edge-diffraction of open ocean swells around the island of Catalina. Swells generated predominantly from the North Pacific in winter and from a combination of Southern Hemisphere storms and hurricanes in the summer focus on Huntington Beach creating consistent surf all year long, thus the nickname “Surf City”.
Spark Woodfire Grill in Huntington Beach offers one of the best ocean views in Southern California. The Ocean View Terrace features 180° panoramic views and an open fire pit. Spark, voted the best restaurant in Huntington Beach, specializes in prime steaks and wood grilled seafood. Steaks are prepared in a 1600° steak broiler. Spark’s bar has over 52 specialty martinis offered and the restaurant wine list and wines by the glass are extensive.
The expressive city site huntingtonbeachevents.com shares, “Huntington Beach Events features a full calendar of events with hundreds of events and things to do. Some are available every day of the year. At the beach you can surf, watch birds at the Bolsa Chica Wetlands nature trails, jog, bicycle or skate on the 8.5 mile path that parallels the beach, yet staying off the busy Pacific Coast Highway.
A short distance from the Pacific Ocean visitors can ride horse rentals on trails in Central Park, play Frisbee Disc Golf for an affordable fee, enjoy the popular Meadowlark (public) Golf Club, Dog Beach, Dog Park, Huntington Beach Sports Complex with baseball and soccer fields, Huntington Beach Playhouse, go fishing, build a bonfire, fly a kite, kite surf and shop.”
No wonder Victoria is used to seeing and accomplishing so much. What a great place to live.
Her pace to super stardom is relentless. On January 31, 2015 Victoria Anthony won the Dave Schultz Memorial International.
Marc Russell Benioff is the founder, chairman and CEO of salesforce.com, a cloud computing company. As of February 2015, he owns approximately $3 billion worth of Salesforce shares. He was quoting as saying, “You must always be able to predict what’s next and then have the flexibility to evolve.”
Great minds do think alike. Victoria Anthony seemed to say the same thing.
The female wrestling world is being set ablaze by Victoria and perhaps because she spent so many years competing in Canada the perception may be that she has been flying under the radar as opposed to if she had wrestled for one of the WCWA powers like King University, Oklahoma City or the new bully on the female collegiate wrestling block, led by the masterful Coach Lee Miracle, Campbellsville.
Women’s wrestling world?
In the freestyle female wrestling world, you no doubt have heard of Victoria Anthony. But if you haven’t heard of her, Female Competition International would like to introduce you to Ms. Victoria Anthony and please have your Thesaurus ready.
When you attempt to describe to others what the sensational Victoria Anthony is accomplishing and the global pathways that she has been scorching on her sizzling and impressive victory march, please always remember……..
No matter how expansive, one word will never do.
